Formats
Formats are minimalist but necessary; for instance, the voting system (as displayed on this page.) This is absolutely one-hundred percent necessary to your article, failure to add it will result in immediate removal of your article. How do you add it? Simple. Look next to the title area. See where it says add poll? Click that. Title it "Rating". The first option should be the ↑ symbol. The second option should be the ↓ symbol. Do NOT put these on drafts unless for practice, as it won't count, obviously. How will we calculate the score that way? Easily, we know math.
As for titles, there are a few things to keep in mind. Keep it related and use definite articles to define the subject. For instance, rather than titling an entity article "A Knock on the Door," title it "The Knock on the Door," even if it is a chain phenomena. Try to make sure you are not copying a pre-existing title.
Spoilers are your friend. If you have an example for something, or when you're writing a multiple chapter story (in which case we'd like you to only use one thread), you can put that writing under a spoiler for ease of access without clutter.
Try to use preexisting terms listed, especially if you are writing for a certain religion that has its own ideas for terms.
Other than that, there is no other specific formatting, as long as you follow categories properly.
Tones
There are not many specific tones, however, there are specific themes we wish for you to follow. Much like format, it can vary, especially between religions. However, entities should have a formal tone in their writing rather than a biased view. Religions, however, can be written with some bias from the standards of a member with dedication to the faith. Myths, on the other hand, vary greatly depending on the religion, meaning its all up to you. They can hold full bias; just imagine myths as biblical text for the religions. Just remember that all the previously stated subjects MUST be in third-person POV. Articles, however, are yours basic stories. Although we do not encourage second-person viewpoint, all viewpoints are accepted in stories, as well as all tones of writing.

When searching for images to use here, use the creativecommons search. (http://search.creativecommons.org/) Only use images provided by any of the listings there, but it is best to select the Google option and click the Images tab from there. This keeps us free of copyright infringement should anything ever be publicized.
